Teaching Kinesiology For Horses Classes Online
In October 2024 I offered two classes- Kinesiology For Horses and Goal Balancing and Emotional Clearing For Horses- that could be attended in-person (recommended) or online.- This is the second time I am teaching these classes online so students can attend remotely via Zoom.
If you plan to attended remotely keep a few things to keep in mind.
This will be a 'hybrid' class, I am teaching this class online and in-person together. I have taught many other classes online during the pandemic successfully. I taught this one previously as a hybrid. It is a little more challenging to observe everyone during practices
I have done a test run using Zoom in the barn and the teaching space. It worked well during my test. However, classes in the country can have a glitchy online connection depending on weather and distance from the barn where we might do a demonstration. I will be optimizing my equipment and do not expect serious problems. If there are momentary glitches (freezing of the picture or freezing of both picture and audio) I will ask the online attendees to notify me so I can repeat whatever information might have been missed. If necessary I will try to record any class segments that are having connectivity issues for later review by attendees. This has seldom been a problem in other classes, however this is a rural location for me to broadcast from.
If you have a horse at home and want to practice on her/him while the in-person students practice on the horses at the class, you can do so. I will try to observe both the in-person and online student practices for coaching. You can also bring your horse to the class. The barn I teach at has space for overnight equine visitors.
Either in-person or online these classes have a wealth of useful information to help you and your horse connect, heal and grow together.
